Technical Requirements

We keep things straightforward. Our platform works on most modern devices and browsers. You don't need cutting-edge tech to participate in our financial leadership programs.

Been helping folks get set up since 2019. Most technical issues resolve in under five minutes. The main thing is having a stable internet connection and an up-to-date browser.

What You Actually Need

Device Requirements

  • Desktop or laptop with at least 4GB RAM (8GB recommended for smoother experience)
  • Tablets work fine for viewing content, though some interactive exercises work better on larger screens
  • Smartphones are okay for quick reference but we suggest using a computer for the main coursework
  • Screen resolution of 1280x720 or higher helps with spreadsheet-based activities

Browser Compatibility

  • Chrome 100 or later (we test everything on Chrome first)
  • Firefox 95 or later works reliably across all modules
  • Safari 15 or later for Mac users (occasionally minor display quirks but nothing major)
  • Edge 100 or later fully supported on Windows systems
  • Keep your browser updated to avoid compatibility headaches down the line

Internet Connection

  • Minimum 5 Mbps download speed for video content without buffering
  • 10 Mbps or higher recommended for live workshop sessions
  • Wired connection often more stable than Wi-Fi for extended sessions
  • Mobile hotspot works in a pinch but watch your data usage with video materials

Most participants join with equipment they already own. We've had people successfully complete programs on five-year-old laptops. The software requirements are intentionally minimal because financial leadership skills matter more than tech specs.

Software and Tools

We use standard tools that most business professionals already have. Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for financial modeling exercises. A PDF reader for case study materials. Zoom for live sessions, though recordings are always available if you can't make it.

You won't need to install specialized financial software. Everything runs through your browser or common productivity apps. If there's ever an optional tool mentioned in a module, there's always a free alternative or workaround.

The platform itself stores your progress automatically, so you can switch between devices without losing your place. Started a module on your work computer? Pick it up on your home laptop that evening.

Accessibility Features

All video content includes transcripts. Screen readers work with the platform interface. Keyboard navigation is fully supported throughout. We test with NVDA and JAWS regularly.

Color contrast meets WCAG AA standards across the board. Text size adjusts through your browser settings without breaking layouts. Video playback speed is adjustable from 0.5x to 2x.

If you use assistive technology and run into something that doesn't work properly, contact our team. We've made dozens of improvements based on participant feedback over the past two years.

I was worried my older MacBook wouldn't handle the course materials. Turns out everything ran perfectly fine. The platform is really well optimized. I never had to wait for pages to load or videos to buffer, even when working from a cafe with questionable Wi-Fi.
